Résumé
Les incendies de forêt forment un système complexe. Après l’avoir décrit de façon empirique, nous insistons sur trois lois fractales qui caractérisent leur organisation spatio-temporelle dans le midi méditerranéen français. Le modèle fractal parabolique (FP) permet de modéliser ses signatures fractales. Elles signifient que le comportement des incendies obéit à la théorie des systèmes critiques auto-organisés.

Abstract
Forest fires are complex system. After an empirical description, we insist on the three principal fractal laws which characterize the forest fire space-time organization in French Mediterranean region. The parabolic fractal model (FP) allows a measure of its fractal signatures. They show that forest fires behavior obeys to the self-organized criticality theory.
